Terms of Use
The rules governing use of AEC International and its public platform.
Last updated: 31 August 2026.
1. Acceptance
By using aecinternational.online, submitting an enquiry, requesting a project, using an AEC app or accessing AEC Journal or AEC Knowledge Hub content, you agree to these Terms of Use and any additional terms stated in an applicable quotation, order, service agreement or product page.
2. Platform purpose
AEC International provides an international platform for architecture, engineering, construction and surveying services, request-based apps/software, industry content, professional learning resources and custom solutions. Not every listed service or app is pre-built or immediately available; some offerings are scoped after an enquiry is received.
3. Professional services
Project work is based on information supplied by the client and is subject to an accepted scope, quotation or other written confirmation. Unless explicitly included, AEC International does not represent that deliverables are independently checked, certified, sealed or approved by a professional licensed in the client's jurisdiction.
4. User responsibilities
Users must provide accurate information, have authority to share submitted files and instructions, respect third-party rights, and not upload malicious, illegal or harmful material. Users remain responsible for verifying that final deliverables satisfy project-specific contractual, regulatory, code, permitting, safety and professional requirements.
5. Intellectual property
AEC International retains rights in its platform, branding, original software, original editorial material and reusable internal methods. Client ownership or license rights in custom deliverables are governed by the accepted quotation or project agreement. Third-party materials remain subject to their original rights and licenses.
6. Journal and third-party sources
AEC Journal may summarize, discuss or link to third-party publications, research and industry sources. Source attribution does not imply endorsement, partnership or transfer of copyright. Users should consult the original source for the complete work and its terms.
7. Knowledge Hub
Paid or free Knowledge Hub materials may have product-specific usage restrictions. Unless expressly stated otherwise, purchase or access provides a personal or organization-specific license to use the material and does not transfer copyright or permit resale, public redistribution or creation of competing derivative products.
8. Availability and changes
We may add, revise, suspend or remove platform features, services, apps, prices or content. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of every page, third-party link, source or request-based offering.
9. No professional or exam guarantee
General educational, technical and informational content is not a substitute for project-specific professional advice. Training or exam-preparation material does not guarantee certification or exam success.
10. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AEC International is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from use of the public website, third-party sources or reliance on general informational content. Project-specific liability, if any, is governed by the accepted project terms and applicable law.
11. Applicable contracting terms
Commercial terms, payment provisions, governing law and dispute arrangements may vary according to the contracting entity, customer location and project. Where applicable, those terms will be stated in the quotation, invoice, service agreement or checkout terms.
